Hi people.
I have right now running bacula 1.38.5 on freebsd 5.4-p10, next week i will upgrade to 1.38.9, but right now ihas this little problem. On some tapes if i run the command "mount" on bconsole, give the error:
MueblexBDC.2006-05-15_16.59.02 Error: block.c:263 Volume data error at 0:0! Wanted ID: "BB02", got "". Buffer discarded.
15-May 16:59 bacula-sd: Labeled new Volume "FullTape-0003" on device "StorageWorks-232" (/dev/nsa0).
They 2 tapes, the others dosent show me this message, i have read some mails where this error appear, but i want to know:
1; Those tapes are already damage, send them to the garbage?
2; Wish test process i can do on those tapes to check if i can trust my data on them...?
They are only 2 tapes, but one of them have one Full Backup with 6 jobs and the amount of data is 106GB, i test the tape with the restore command and the files where ok, them all my data is ok..?
This all my doubt, any suggestion about will be apreciate.
