In the meantime I found that it is no bacula problem. There is only one possible constellation in FreeBSDs sa driver in this context. The driver asks for the Position (scsi_read_position) and the answer is : SA_RPOS_UNCERTAIN In this case the driver sets the error code : Invalid argument We are exchanging some hardware now.
