OK, so your FD is running on Windows XP.  And your Director is 
running on Fedora.

This sounds like a communication issue.  Please answer the following:

On which machine are you running bconsole?

On which machine are you running the director?

It sounds like fierro is the Fedora box.  On that box, please issue 
the following command:

telnet localhost 9101

Please paste the result of that command
