Just wanted to report in that I've successfully gotten our new Autochanger to work. Unfortunately mtx also doesn't recognize the mail-in slot (but we won't be using that one anyway). tapeinfo -f /dev/sg0 Product Type: Tape Drive Vendor ID: 'CERTANCE' Product ID: 'ULTRIUM 2 ' Revision: '1775' Attached Changer: No SerialNumber: '<removed>' MinBlock:1 MaxBlock:16777215 SCSI ID: 5 SCSI LUN: 0 Ready: no bacula-sd.conf definitions are the default ones: I took the predefined examples, added the device paths (/dev/nst0 for the drive and /dev/sg1 for the changer) and a Maximum Changer Wait = 240 just to be sure. btape test succeeded for the drive and the loader. Basic backup and restore succeeded too. (Even tested restoring a backup that spanned over the tape end, worked like a charm.)
