Greetings again!

Never mind. So far as I can tell/guess, my problem was, when I
compiled my newer version of bacula, I was also trying not to run the dir
and sd daemon as root. When I compiled again, using root (which is
actually what I was using, before), all is working.

Today, a backup was done to the SimpleTech USB drive. Tuesday
morning, a backup will be done to the Western Digital drive.

It did *not* require any change to my configuration files.

I appear to be okay... (I'm looking at Filesystem change prohibited
messages, appearing in gnome-console, from the bacula-fd. I am not sure
about these yet. The backup hasn't finished, but I don't remember seeing
that before.)

     Barry
