We no longer support Gnome 1.4 -- it is too old. If you want it, pull version 1.36.3 from Source Forge. I believe support for it was still available. Concerning CORBA and ORBit, I know little about the details of Gnome other than the APIs that I use. However, I can say that Gnome is most likely written by a bunch of ex-Windows programmers because it is a rat's-nest of a huge number of interacting components all with unpronounceable names. > > > - Current patch reverts default build behaviour to not build gconsole. > > To retain current behaviour maybe nobuild_gconsole define would be > > more reasonable. > > Yes, from a standpoint of building packages for distribution a nobuild > default would be better. > > > Mindaugas ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
