Follow up notice. It would be worth to include "BuildRequires: gcc-c++" to the .spec file. Also on all rh7, rhel3 and rhel4 gcc-c++ requires both glibc-devel and gcc to be installed. I am suggesting because I just spent couple of hours searching why rpmbuild is failing on one machine while trying to build mtx in the process.
