Hello,

Please note, beginning with version 1.39.5 (20 Feb 2006), you will need to do
a database upgrade. This applies only to users pulling from the current CVS.
The database upgrade is done following the normal procedures -- i.e.

  ./configure (options)
  make
  make install
  cd scripts-directory
  ./update_bacula_tables

I have not yet updated the database version number, so if you do not upgrade,
you will simply get database failures. On the other hand, by not upgrading
the version number, after applying the current database upgrade, your
database should also work with version 1.38.5 should you desire -- this is
untested, and for the moment, I have not tested any of the upgrade scripts.

Best regards,

Kern
