I have a few questions about your bakups. Is there a thousands of small files? Do you have compression set or a signiture in the file set resource? Are you using data spooling? Is the database on the same machine as the bacula server? What version of bacula are you using? Sorry if you answered these before.
I'm using the same settings for all hosts: bacula-1.38.3, MD5 signatures, no spooling. The postgres database is on a different machine to the bacula-dir.
