Hi,
a little late, but still...

Morning
As of a week or so ago my bacula installation started giving errors as
follow:
13-Feb 09:12 apiary-sd: Job BackupCatalog.2006-02-13_01.10.00 waiting.
Cannot find any appendable volumes.
Please use the "label" command to create a new Volume for:
Storage: FileStorage
Media type: File
Pool: Default
I am backing up to a raid system, which is only at 60% capacity at the
moment.
Any ideas of what the issue can be?
Thanks

My pool is config'ed as follows:
Pool {
Name = Default
Pool Type = Backup
Recycle = yes # Bacula can automatically recycle
Volumes
AutoPrune = yes # Prune expired volumes
Volume Retention = 1 months
Accept Any Volume = Yes # write on any volume in the pool
Maximum Volume Jobs = 1
Maximum Volumes = 200
You configured Bacula to only allow 100 Volumes, each holding only one Job.
Either allow more Volumes, or, if you want to make sure you use your
disk but don't try to overflow it, set Maximum Volumes and Maximum
Volume Bytes.
#Recycle Oldest Volume = Yes
#Use Volume Once = Yes
Label Format = "FileBackup-${Client}-job
${JobId}-${Year}-${Month}-${Day}"
When you allow Jobs from more than one Client per Volume, the above
doesn't make any sense any more.
On he other hand, once a volume is recycled it's probably useless anyway...
