Right, You can't mix & match Full and Incremental jobs on the same tape if you plan to do off-site storage, *WITHOUT* an internal data structure identifying "copies", inside the database. I can't remember if Legato has that feature or not; my memory is pretty well scared from the days of Solaris, but that seems correct. ~lava
