Hi Kern,
I edit the message.po for Dutch text, but how do I test this?
Yes, I would be very happy to see a Dutch translation. Please be aware that
you are likely to find a few problem since it would to the best of my
knowledge be the first message translation done.
Unfortunately, I know very little about the NLS files and setup. The three
resources that I can suggest are: 1. the nls documentation (probably a google
search can point you to it). 2. perhaps Nicolas, who wrote the code, can give
you some pointers, though he is busy with his studies. 3. there is probably
someone else on this list who has used the nls system and could help.
Best regards,
Kern
Hi Ben,
Since my native language is Dutch and I've been using Bacula for a while
now, I would like to proofread your translation, if you want me to.
How to test the translation, I don't know either. If I understand
correctly, you translated the interface, or did you translate the docs?
That would have been a major undertaking...
I guess you have to put your .po file isnstead of the English one and
then compile Bacula.
If you want to be sure I see your reply, send it to jo AT winfix.it.
That's my primary email address. (You only need to do so if I don't
react quickly enough on this thread).
Jo
