I'm wondering if I should bin the first two servers and put everything on the one with the autochanger.
I would.
I'd have to change the backup type to Incremental. Is restoring from incremental backups easy with Bacula?
Yes.
Also, my database would become HUGE as we'd have 50 boxes being backed up.
Define "huge" - mine is currently 17Gb, backing up 2 servers containing 26Tb/10 million files and another 15-20-odd machine backups (a lot of our desktop boxes are identically configured, so we only keep one master copy.)
Not a problem under MySQL _provided_ you define more than 4Gb or table space under MyISAM (although I believe Postgres would be better suited to such large tables - just haven't had time to try and convert over yet)
