> You are correct I see by looking at the config files. > Is there a certain procedure for changing the passwords. > And if you, are there any other passwords that should be changed? > Seriously, man: RTFM. Read the (excellent) Bacula manual, and follow the tutorial. Bacula isn't ready-out-of-the-box application that makes everything for you if you aren't able to configure it for your particular environment. All configuration needs to be done by editing the configuration files. If you don't know how to edit the conf files, you should start with more basic software packages first. Making the passwords match is just the beginning...
Your first error message already said "Most likely the passwords do not agree." It shouldn't require a rocket scientist to fix it without this long discussion, but just some spontaneus will to make things work. Anyway, you'll need a basic understanding about how Bacula works, before you can get any benefit from it. Otherwise, you might be living in a false dream world that you have a working backup solution, just to note some very bad day you hadn't configured it to do what you were expecting it to do... -- TiN ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
