Hello! Is there a script or utility I can use to verify the backup on the tape? Does bacula support hardware compression? How well does it work generally? Generally its safe to use your database frontend to manage some tape values. And its really faster to change a hign number of records. Use it with caution Bacula/Software compression its good for "File" devices. Tapes like DDS4 use  hardware compression by default.
