Without duplicating my post, I found that if I issued a status dir in a run before script, the recycle would occur. I am not usre if the mount command in the scriopt is required or not - but it doesn't do any harm. Here is the script that I have execute - RunBefore directive - that solved this issue for my systems: /etc/bacula/bconsole << END_OF_DATA stat dir mount storage=DDS-3 quit END_OF_DATA Of course your mileage may vary...
