Sorry if this looks like too much info but I always see flames about not
including enough detail to help troubleshoot.
What kernel version are you running? I have an installation with an
OnStream DI-30 IDE tape drive (and yes, it was hell to get it to work)
and noticed that when I go to a 2.6.x kernel, I have all kinds of
trouble with it. It does work fine with a 2.4.x kernel though (problem
seems to be ide-scsi in the 2.6 series).
