Thanks for that Arno, I appreciate your help!

Just to clarify one point - how would you get the script to run on the file
daemon? The documentation for the Client/File Daemon doesn't have any mention
of "RunBeforeJob".

Answered my own question - using the "Client Run Before Job"  - all sorted now
