Storage { Name = RockStorage Address = lance # N.B. Use a fully qualified name here SDPort = 9103 Password = "JjX3xmGGEsX7FagvuEoPrTAwcSB8t/DYw9wRO98qUNqe" Device = RockFileStorage Media Type = File } Pool { Name = "Rock Full Pool" Pool Type = Backup Recycle = yes # Bacula can automatically recycle Volumes AutoPrune = yes # Prune expired volumes Volume Retention = 45 days # one year LabelFormat = "RockFull-" Use Volume Once = yes Maximum Volumes = 12 Accept Any Volume = yes # write on any volume in the pool } and in the storage directory config: Device { Name = RockFileStorage Media Type = File Archive Device = /backups/rockhopper LabelMedia = yes # lets Bacula label unlabeled media Random Access = Yes; AutomaticMount = yes; # when device opened, read it RemovableMedia = no; AlwaysOpen = no; } i get this error: 08-Nov 20:05 lance-dir: No prior Full backup Job record found. 08-Nov 20:05 lance-dir: No prior or suitable Full backup found. Doing FULL backup. 08-Nov 20:05 lance-dir: Start Backup JobId 10, Job=rockhopper.2005-11-08_20.05.39 08-Nov 20:05 lance-sd: Job rockhopper.2005-11-08_20.05.39 waiting. Cannot find any appendable volumes. Please use the "label" command to create a new Volume for: Storage: "RockFileStorage" (/backups/rockhopper) Media type: File Pool: Rock Full Pool i know i must be missing something, but i just cannot see it. this is with bacula 1.38.0 -- michael ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
