Hi Ferdinando,

[.s.n.i.p.]

I think it'll be easier for You to simply build a server with sqlite and

throw away the bacula-dir binary.

- You might be able to achieve the locking using Tru64 itself, there is
something in the hardware manuals on that topic, and this could be
integrated
into run-before-job and run-after-job commands.
- unfortunately I've failed to set up a Compaq-labeled LP8000 controller
in my Alpha due to outdated alphafirmware, otherwise I could reproduce
Your setup.
- I'm currently moving house, so all my computers are kind of
disassembled,
and some will probably even end up in some u-stor-it, so I won't be able
to
help trying the binaries out.
- I'd still ask You to send them to my so I can put them hosted online
next
to the HP-UX binaries. (*please* do send them to my private address
mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] )
- Would it be possible for You to create 1.3.8 binaries so people start
with
the most current version?
- I'd like to point my former boss (some Tru64 shop) and the HP ITRC
Tru64 forum
to the binaries then to add some footprint for bacula ;)
