I'm trying to remotely backup a server that I have collocated.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to perform a full backup. The director
is able to properly connect to the client and the backup process starts
okay, but after running for a while the backup keeps failing.

The messages look like so:

03-Nov 10:56 localhost-dir: No prior Full backup Job record found.
03-Nov 10:56 localhost-dir: No prior or suitable Full backup found. Doing
FULL backup.
03-Nov 10:56 localhost-dir: Start Backup JobId 65,
Job=Lola.2005-11-03_09.00.13
03-Nov 10:56 localhost-sd: Volume "Default-Volumes0001" previously written,
moving to end of data.
03-Nov 13:07 localhost-dir: Lola.2005-11-03_09.00.13 Fatal error: Network
error with FD during Backup: ERR=Connection timed out
03-Nov 13:07 localhost-dir: Lola.2005-11-03_09.00.13 Fatal error: No Job
status returned from FD.

Running "status" of the client I see the following:

The file it is attempting to backup each time is a rather large file. I
copied the file to a local server and ran a full backup of that server
within problem.

I'm not sure what the best way to troubleshoot the problem from here is. It
seems strange to me how close the Byte size is each time when it fails.

Any suggestions on what I can try that will point me in the right direction?
