Hello,

Several users have remarked that there are not explicit instructions on how to
upgrade the database from version 8 (1.36.x) to version 9 (1.38.0). To do
so, please use the standard script:

   ./update_bacula_tables

which will be installed in your scripts directory (default /etc/bacula). You
can also find the script in the <bacula-source>/src/cats directory.
I have re-released the source file with these instructions in the ReleaseNotes
file.

If you are upgrading from version of the database prior to Bacula 1.36.x (i.e.
db version 7 or lower), you will find the scripts for updating to version 8
of the database in the updatedb directory, but you will need to edit them to
add the correct path to the binaries used. Once updated to version 8, you
can use the standard script as mentioned above to get to version 9.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Kern
