Hi, I have several Dell pe 1800 with both DAT72 and TRAVAN-40 (IDE, using ide-scsi) and I'm no able to use TRAVAN-40 with bacula but I haven't got any problem with DAT72. It's a good choice however avoid TRAVAN-40 (it cannot pass btape test anyway).
