But somehow I don't see what advice you need.
Perhaps it's time to get some sleep ;-)
Anyway, try using the /lib/tls workarounds as mentioned in the manual.
Turn debug output on for the DIR and see what that tells you.
Mail the relevant part of that debug output, or use gdb to see what the
DIR does.
Without some more clues it's hard to guess what your bacula's problem is.
