No experiences with that unit, but the description you give sounds
rather clear: The devie is getting too hot because of a broken fan or
something. Probably "only" overheating.
First, you should make sure that your installation meets the
requirements for that device - outside temperature, air flow, doors
closed etc.
As the replacement process took about 2 monthes, I'm not really willing
to go that route again.
Good luck. Especially with dealers like gateway you're usually well
advised to invest into their support - or buy at a more-or-less local
dealer who can manage warranty cases in a more direct way with the
manufacturer.
