This is a new bacula installation and am testing prior to putting into production. I'm having trouble opening bconsole each morning:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]: cd /usr/local/etc aries-root@/usr/local/etc: bconsole Connecting to Director aries:9101 05-Oct 11:12 bconsole: Fatal error: bnet.c:775 Unable to connect to Director daemon on aries:9101. ERR=Connection refused After restarting bacula, I'm able to get in. The main backup job is scheduled to execute at 00:05 followed by the BackupCatalog job at 00:10. When I attempt to manually run the backup job from the bconsole prompt, it executes fine. Same with the backup of the catalog. Something is hanging it at 00:05 each day. What is it? Using Bacula 1.36.3 running off PGSQL 7.4 . /var/db/bacula/log shows no entry for 00:05 each day. Is this a password issue? If so, which module is trying to access the director module? ~Doug ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
