Hi,
I have the following backup strategy:
Schedule {
Name = "WeeklyCycle"
Run = Full 1st mon at 20:00
Run = Full 2nd mon at 20:00
Run = Full 3rd mon at 20:00
Run = Full 4th mon at 20:00
Run = Differential tue-fri at 20:00
}
Every monday I make a full backup in different tapes, and from tuesday
to friday a differential backup, so I can preserve data for at least one
month.
The issue is that if I make a full backup using the RUN command
(manually process), stop backup, remove from the scheduled full backup,
and then starting again bacula, the process of the next differential
backup is informing me that a valid full backup is not being identified,
and due to this fact a full backup is being done instead.
How can I solve this problem? Is there a way to inform Bacula WHAt is
the full backup I want to base my differential backup?
Thanks for any information on this.
Regards.
Marcelo
