Is there a list of changes done to 1.36.3 after it has been

for example, or ChangeLog, or ReleaseNotes.
hello arno,
that's not exactly what i want, i's sure you expected me to say that ;-)))
Actually, no, I didn't expect that...
what i would like is some possibility to check maybe the cvs-tree (branch
for 1.36.3) and see what new files are added to that (but.... as i have no
idea how cvs works....)
Neither do I, although the basic tasks are not that difficult. But,
unfortunately, sf seems to have some problems with (anonymous) cvs
access recently. Usually, you could just browse the cvs using the web
interface, sort files by date, and see which files are newer. More
comfortable is do load all the cvs tree to your local machine and diff
against what you already have (if you still had it :-P ).
In any case, I don't think what you want will be very helpful as quite a
lot of files have been changed and most possibly only a small part of
the changes was included in your setup.
another possibility would be to look in bugs-database, but that's much more
work i think....
Indeed... and some things were corrected without a bugs entry, I think.
In your place, I'd either donload 1.38.38 and start from there, or wait
for a later version (or for sf's cvs to become usable again).
Background... as I had to reinstall my backup-server last
week (and also
lost my sourcetree where i had changed some files....) i
need to know which
of them i have changed (i know one: jobq.c which i got from
Kern to resolve
one of the problems i had).
Didn't you have a backup? ;-)
oh... sure i have or exactly had.... fedora core 4 installation destroyed my
raids where backups were stored....
You know what I like about tapes?
:-)
Anyway, sorry to hear that... still I guess you could have been more
careful when upgrading - but that's no news to you now, right?
