hi, I tried that, but it still wont work. It gives me the same error. It is just unable to restore the backup tree. It seems to be messing up with the Windows permissions whle restoring the tree. I say so, bcoz i manually recreated the restore directory-tree structure first. e.g Suppose i wanted the backup [c:\bacula\doc\] to be restored at : c:\bacula-restores, then i first manually created the directory tree => c:\bacula-restores\c\bacula\doc. Now, when i tried the restore, it restored fine. The restored tree looked like : c:\bacula-restores\c\bacula\doc\<files>....... So, Given the entire restore directory path, bacula restores the files in them, but is unable to create the restore directory-subdirectory tree path by itself. You have any idea of whts happening out here ? -mahesh. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
