I'm considering bacula to replace our hand made backup system, which is more and more less adequat for the use. But i am in need of an exotic configuration: We plan to use a deported backup system on our entreprise site, while the servers are on an datacenter. In fact the most common use of backups is to restore user-made errors on some partitions, so actually we only backups thoses directory on a local partition of the scsi raid1 array. We have actually something like 15 server with 100 Gb of data who need backups, but since the entreprise site has only a 2Mb SDSL i need to be able to do restore from the local backups most of the time. And more it could be great if locals backups have differents Full/Incrementals time frame. So i wonder how great bacula works with multiple storage daemon (mostly on disk space).
