I've had similar requests and it's rather painful to mark them manually...
However, if I am not mistaken, you must explicitly "cd" to each
directory to do your "mark *.dbx" command, or you must supply a list of
files.
The saving grace is the "find" command, which at least will generate a
list. It's just a pity there Bacula's "find" doesn't have the equivalent
to " find <path> -iregex *.dbx -exec 'mark' "
