I am not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this but here goes:

I am interested in using bacula-rescue on Fedora Core 4 and RHEL 4. <no
groaning please>

I successfully created an ISO image

I had to make two changes to get it to work on Fedora Core 4.

backup.etc.list:
:s/modules.conf/modprobe.conf

Before this change make returned a fatal error.

second (due to my environment, run as user with sudo) I do not have
/sbin/ in my path. I modified makeinitrd to have /sbin/ in its
environment for losetup (and some other binaries, I forget which).

The bootcd.iso did not succesfully boot under vmware though. it
kernelpaniced
VFS: Cannot open root device "<NULL>" etc ...

I do not have hardware to test on at present thus the use of vmware
which may be where this kernel panic comes from.

I will continue to play as time permits.
Dan
