Hello,

Florian, I think this better goes to the list - I can't code that, and I already have DDS2 and CD-R drives :-)

Hi list,

As a workaround, I think it wouldn't be too hard to come

up with a tool

to split the BSR file into two or more BSRs by device.

Can't test the

idea until I have a second drive, though.

Still, I think this would better be implemented inside bacula, not relying on an external script, because what is to be done should not be specific to a certain setup, unlike mtx-changer or dvd-*

I'll gladly ship either a DDS2 and CDR drive (scsi either way) to anyone

who goes after solving this internally in bacula.

Whenever I've paid my power bill off, I'll surely be the next to run into these issues, I planned to have a DDS2 library for incrementals
and two DLT (single) libraries for full backups, as it never occured
to me that the JobMedia-thing wouldn't handle that.

I think that's really an important feature, whoever can work out such
a thing, please just drop me a line.
