Perhaps something inside that script is not running correctly?
Usually, I'd guess that the script itself is either there or not, but
not sometimes unavailable.
Have you tried debugging that script, perhaps sending debug output to a
local logfile, to see to which extent it is running?
I usually include a line to print a timestamp and all arguments to a log
file as a first step...
