I have a problem to set up multiple tapers with concurrent jobs.
I have 2 backup servers :
- the first one (S1) with a taper + Director + SD
- the second one (S2) only with another taper + SD
My Director is managing the backup jobs on the 2 tapers. I have jobs for
one taper and jobs for the other taper (no mix). S1 is used daily and S2
monthly.
As I wanted to have the jobs on the tapers done simultaneously, I set my
configuration like that
* S1
Director{
Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 2
}
Storage{
Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 1
}
*S2
Storage{
Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 1
}
and nothing on the Jobs configuration.
I have added S2 (before S1 was alone and everything was fine) since 4
days now and I have often (daily) Fatal Errors with the storage daemon.
I have understand with
http://www.bacula.org/rel-manual/faq.html#AuthorizationErrors that the
problem is coming from my configuration and that this can only work
*only* if there is jobs running on S1 *and* S2.
So, is there a way to configure Bacula to allow concurrent jobs running
on the 2 differents tapers but not on the same one ?
