Hello List,
I remember reading about this problem on the list a while back. I just
ran into it myself and found a solution. (tested on a nforce4 board with
onboard nvidia gigabit NIC)
Browse to:
Start > Control Panel > Network Connections
Right click the connection for the nvidia adapter and select properties.
Under the General tab, click "Configure...". Under the Advanced tab set
"Checksum Offload" to disabled and click OK to save the change.
I was getting consistent disconnects at just over 1GB, with this change
I have been able to successfully complete multiple backups of the 17GB
filesystem.
