i added back (uncommented) the Changer Device attribute in the Device resource, leaving the Changer Device as is in the AutoChanger resource, and this gave me the same "Autochanger enabled, but no name or no command device specified." i then commented out the Changer Device in the AutoChanger resource, leaving the Changer Device defined in the Device resource, and bacula-sd failed to start: # ./bacula restart Stopping the Bacula File daemon Stopping the Bacula Storage daemon Stopping the Bacula Director daemon Starting the Bacula Storage daemon 11-Aug 12:01 bacula-sd: ERROR TERMINATION at stored_conf.c:491 "changerdevice" item is required in "" resource, but not found. Starting the Bacula File daemon Starting the Bacula Director daemon i will go on and upgrade to 1.37.30... thnaks kern, chris ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
