OK. The problem is that you are trying to "mount" two different Volumes at the same time on a single SD Device. That may sound wrong or odd to you, but Bacula treats Disk Volumes almost identically to tape Volumes. Each Device has a single I/O packet, so it can only deal with a single Volume at a time. If you try to backup to two different Volumes at the same time on the same SD Device whether it be a tape or a disk, in version 1.36.x Bacula will fail the job. In version 1.37.x the second job will wait until the first one is finished before starting. It wouldn't be hard to submit an SQL command to bconsole that lists all the Purged volumes, the output of which can be saved to a file. The file can then be used as input to the rm command to delete the files. You will probably also want to delete the Volumes from the Bacula catalog database as well. In 1.37.36 (not yet committed), there is a VolumePurged event, which can be picked up in a Python method where you can delete the file. > > > > > > === > > Relevant SD conf > > > > Storage { > > Name = backup2-sd > > SDPort = 9103 > > WorkingDirectory = "/var/db/bacula" > > Pid Directory = "/var/run" > > Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 20 > > } > > > > > > Device { > > Name = FileStorage > > Media Type = File > > Archive Device = /backup/bacula > > LabelMedia = yes; > > Random Access = Yes; > > AutomaticMount = yes; > > RemovableMedia = no; > > AlwaysOpen = yes; > > } > > > > ===== > > > > ===== > > Highlights from director conf > > > > Pool { > > Name = Default > > Pool Type = Backup > > Recycle = yes > > AutoPrune = yes > > Volume Retention = 8 days > > LabelFormat = "Vol" > > Maximum Volume Bytes = 4000000000 > > Accept Any Volume = yes > > > > } > > > > Storage { > > Name = backup1-sd > > Address = backup1 > > SDPort = 9103 > > Password = XXXXXXXX > > Device = FileStorage > > Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 3 > > Media Type = File > > } > > > > ===== > > > > > > > > > > > > > > James Ashton > > Vortech Inc > > -- > Best regards, > > Kern > > ("> > /\ > V_V > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. > Version: 7.0.338 / Virus Database: 267.10.8/71 - Release Date: 8/12/2005 -- Best regards, Kern ("> /\ V_V ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
