Hi Silas,

I understand it is possible to use one pool for multiple jobs/schedules/levels. But the reason why I don't use one pool is that I need to have different "Volume Retention" times.

Maybe it helps if I explain what I'm trying to do.

I want to use tapes for the weekly full/monthly full backups.
The daily incremental backups are stored on an external harddisk.

For every weekly full backup there is a new tape but if the month is over and the monthly full backup is executed I want to recycle the used weekly tapes. For every daily incremental backup there is just 1 volume (appending every day) and after 10 days the volume is recycled.

I'm trying to accomplish the "A Daily, Weekly, Monthly Tape Usage Example" from the Bacula User Manual, but with the difference that I use a tapestreamer and an external harddisk.

I have made my bacula-dir.conf available online at: http://kabel.netvisit.nl/~buurke01/bacula-dir.txt.

I looks like it works but I'm not 100% sure. So I'm interessed in how other people would accomplish what I'm trying to do.
