I am backing up to disk and copying to tapes in "Run After Job" directives. I
am having real problems with my volume names and recycling though. If the
backup doesn't run on the day that my counters are supposed to increment,
then I have to manually increment the counter and/or delete volumes by hand
so that Bacula will re-use them. I am sure that I have just done things
wrong, so I would like some help in figurng it out.

My goal is, for each client, to have the following backups:
Monthly (Full) for 6 months
Weekly (Diff) for 1 month
Daily (Incr) for 2 weeks

I have been trying to name my volumes different things along the line of:
client-level-week-day

I have a counter set up to increment the count of 'week' every Saturday when
the Diff / Full backup is run.

However this is not working for me. I could conceivably have volumes in
different pools with the same names, and also I really do not like how the
counters work at all.

Right now I also have 2 pools set up for each client (weekly and daily) and
the weekly pool for the first client to get backed up is the one that
increments the week-count. I would really appreciate a better way to
accomplish this because it seems like every single day at least one of the
backups is not running, and this is not good!
