hi
i have made a "donothing"-backup-job.
then "run donothing".
29-Jul 10:23 pe2800oracle-dir: Start Backup JobId 477,
Job=donothing.2005-07-29_10.23.49
volumeretentionperiod is "over". bacula pruned the current volume and
changed status to recycle. till here all right.
29-Jul 10:37 pe2800oracle-dir: Pruned 5 Jobs on Volume "freitag1" from
catalog.
29-Jul 10:37 pe2800oracle-dir: Recycled volume "freitag1"
BUT then received this "error"-message:
29-Jul 10:37 pe2800oracle-sd: Job donothing.2005-07-29_10.23.49 waiting.
Cannot find any appendable volumes.
Please use the "label" command to create a new Volume for:
Storage: LTO Ultrium 2
Media type: LTO-G2
Pool: Default
after certain time job will be canceled automatic.
why "donothing" is not using the purged and recycled volume? the jobs
dont wait till the purging is ready.
it schould working like this.
1. job start
2. purge volume and set status to recycle.(job must wait till purging is
ready)
3. use the currently purged volume for backup
