So here is my situation. I have a set of remote servers that I'd like to backup. I can ssh to these servers from the bacula-dir (which is also the bacula-sd) however these servers cannot ssh back to bacula. (nat is involved). I've been playing w/ the ssh-tunnel.sh script as it seems to create a tunnel from bacula-dir that will also tunnel back stuff for dir and sd. This binds the systems local ports 9101 and 9103 to go back through the tunnel. I"m failing to see how this will make the bacula-fd client on the remote system use the local address rather than trying to use the fqdn of the director and of the storage daemon.
Can somebody help me out in this situation? Do I need to specify a 'fake' sd that has address of 127.0.0.1 ? -- Jesse Keating GameHouse -- Systems Engineer ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
