This looks like the FD can't connect to the SD. Re-read the manual :-)

Or, in short: The SD address you set up in the director for this job must be resolvable from the FD.

With a firewalled system, you might have to put an SD in a DMZ or puncture the firewall - port forwarding can be useful in such a case, but you will also have to verify your host addresses.
