Ahh ... the use of | to execute the command on the client is not fully tested yet. If the vertical bar (|) in front of my_partitions is preceded by a backslash as in \|, the program will be executed on the Client's machine instead of on the Director's machine - (this is implemented but not thoroughly tested, and is reported to work on Windows) Bugger!
