OK. I think I have discovered the answer to my tape rotation dilemma. It's right in the manual of course. (I hope I can be forgiven for not reading the entire 548-page manual before installing and trying the software.)
If I use the Full Backup Pool and Differential Backup Pool directives, it looks like I can put my full backups into the Weekly pool, even when they run on weekdays. I'd try something like that right now, except a backup job is running.
