But I only exited from the console ... therefore, the director should still be 
running in the background. Anyway  ... this one is the least of my problem 
compared to item [1].

readline-5.0 from sunfreeware.com
sqlite-2.8.13 from sunfreeware.com ( Thus, I did not use the "make sqlite" 
from depkgs )

I'll let the current job finish first .. then I'll try to replicate problem 
item[1].  What additional information would u want me to supply when I 
replicate the problem ?
