> Have you installed the devel packages related to gnome?

I just did that. It didn't put gnomeConf.sh into /lib, but it did put it into
/opt/gnome/lib. So I copied it into /lib, ran configure and make. No errors
relating to gnome, although I still haven't found any wx-config file.

When I first installed gnome, I didn't select any of the devel packages (hey,
I'm not a developer). I guess from now on I will always install all the devel
packages for whatever I use.
