I finally found the time to do what I promised... and even tested it! :-)

No, you saw all there is to see. Considering used-but-out-of-retention
volumes masn't something I thought about - mostly because I'm glad I've
got the data on tape :-)
Seriously - I'll add that to the script, but that might take some days.
It seems to work correctly.
Use the brand-new and shiny -p switch. Read the help. Try it. Modify it.
Send patches :-)
Seriously - If someone would see how this works with postgres and,
possibly, SQLite I'd be very pleased. I'm too lazy to install these and
put some catalog into them etc.
I hope this script is useful.
