Hello,

[cc'd -users & -devel hope this is not offensive to anyone.]

Today I set up Bacula to backup a mail hierarchy our mail server. This
consists of a dozen users maildirs, comprising 4GB of disc space and,
according to Bacula, 308926 files.

The backup itself ran fine easily filling the 100Mbit connection between
servers. However, the size of the backup volume is rather large.

mail# du -sh /raid/mail
4.0G /raid/mail

mrt# ls -lh /vol/bacula/mail-fp-0001
-rw-r----- 1 bacula bacula 23G Jun 9 17:30 /vol/bacula/mail-fp-0001

This is with compression=GZIP! As you can infer from the volume name this is
the first (0001) Full backup (fp == Full Pool).

This can't be right, can it?
