Anyway: Thank you _very_ much for your help. And it's good to know that
bacula survives this kind of desaster.
It was designed that way (not very hard), and it is good that you have
confirmed it -- I'll add some notes to the manual based on your
experiences ...
Uhm, just to straighten things a bit:
There were actually no jobs *running* when the outage
occured. So we can't confirm this case.
Nevertheless a good thing that bacula recovered from
a somewhat damaged tape. That and your help saved our day.
Our confidence in bacula increased a lot. :-)
